Asked Questions
1. Who is Tleh’s Directory and Newsletter? 3. As a sponsor, will I get a copy of the directory or newsletter? 4. Will my copy contain the resident information? 5. What is volume print pricing? 6. Can I do a tab in a single subdivision? 7. What kind of response can I expect? 8. Do all residents get a directory or newsletter? 9. How are directories and newsletters delivered? 10. Do new residents get a directory when they move in? 11. How do I get my ad copy to you? 1. Tleh ’s
Directory is a family owned business located in Duluth, Georgia, a
small town just northeast of Atlanta. The company has been in
business for over 10 years producing fine homeowner directories and newsletters for
subdivisions in the area. The parent company, Our sales and production staff are experienced in all aspects of print advertising. We are dedicated to assisting you in achieving your marketing goals, both economically and effectively.
2. Your directory ad will run for at least 10 months, to well over a year. All directories are annual (once a year) updates. The soonest we would put out an update would be 10 months. This timeframe allows ample time for sponsors to receive response and allows subdivisions to adjust delivery to better fit subdivision needs. We have also found that when a resident gets an update, they do not throw away the old directory. They will keep it as an extra directory, especially if they have written in notes about neighbors, sponsors, etc. In that case the life of your ad can extend much longer than originally intended. Newsletters are published and delivered on the subdivision's regular schedule. Most are monthly, every other month, or quarterly.
3. If you buy an ad that is a half page or larger, you will get a sponsor copy of the directory. All newsletter sponsors will receive a sponsor copy
4. Your copy is identical to the directory or newsletter delivered to the subdivision, except it does not contain any resident information, because of our agreements with the subdivisions. If it did contain the resident information, the subdivision would not let us do their directory or newsletter in the first place. If your intent is to solicit residents by phone or mail from our directories or newsletters, this program is not for you.
5. Volume print pricing offers you additional discounts and it is ideal for those advertisers who want to advertise aggressively in a number of subdivisions. Volume print discounts are based on quantities of 3000, 5000 and 10000 for directories and 1000, 3000 and 5000 for newsletters. We insert them into subdivisions of your choice. See volume pricing for details.
6. Yes, ask your representative for details
7. Although there is no guarantee that you will get response, we can think of no other advertising medium that gives more opportunities for your message to be seen. That’s because your visibility in Tleh’s Directory lasts all year long and Tleh's Newsletter contains timely and important information that residents want to read. Over 85% of sponsors do repeat from previous editions. Also, because of the targeted nature of Tleh's Directory and Newsletter, your advertising dollars are not wasted going to addresses that do not match your geographic and demographic requirements for your particular business. See our sponsor testimonials. In addition, according to a recent survey of subdivisions residents, 85% of residents use their directory, 60% use it daily or weekly, and 68% said they use the sponsors during the year.
8. We print the number of directories based on the number given to us by the subdivision (this is the number shown on the rate sheet), plus a 10-15%overage for new residents. This quantity is what is delivered to the subdivision. It is our goal for all residents to get a directory, even residents that don't want their name listed, or didn't get their resident information in on time. We cannot guarantee delivery to every resident, but that certainly is our intent. Newsletters are usually printed and delivered in a quantity equal to the number of homes.
9. Most subdivisions do the actual delivery, typically by board members, street captains, or other volunteers in the subdivision. Our directory contract with each subdivision states that delivery to residents must take place within 10 days after delivery to the subdivision. We don’t have problems with delivery because subdivisions look forward to delivering the new directory to their residents as quickly as possible. In some cases a subdivision will ask us to mail their directories, as is the case with many of our newsletters
10. Typically new residents get a directory from a board member or a person on the Welcoming Committee after move in. We supply 10-15%extra copies to each subdivision for this purpose. Our ad rates to you do not include these extra copies, because we cannot guarantee their delivery. However, we do feel many new residents do receive them. 11. After purchase, you can choose one of 3 ways to get your ad copy to us. 1. If you have it ready, you can send it to us via e-mail, fax, or mail. 2. If you have an ad agency, they can send us the digital files. 3. You can speak with one of our representatives to assist with your ad copy and layout. With any new ad, or any ad changes, you will receive a proof for your approval before the publication goes to press. |
